Senior Inside Sales Representative


Terre is seeking a Senior Inside Sales Representative with incredible organizational skills to take the lead on turning inbound inquiries into revenue. The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience in a product sales capacity with 5+ years experience in the office furniture industry.   • Managing inbound leads from website, email, phone and social media

  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients

  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support

  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources

  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.

  • Creating and maintaining a database of prospect clients in our CRM

  • Organizing and delivering information to our outside sales reps and dealers

  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions

  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics in CRM

  • Building pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales in CRM

  • Maintaining database of prospective client information in CRM

  • Closing sales and working with client through closing process


  • 10+ years in a sales role with 5+ years in the office/residential furniture industry

  • Comfortable making cold calls and sending cold emails

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and industry partners

  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories

  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry

  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close

  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

  • Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred

  • Strong computer skills and experience with CRMs
